The Spanish Office for Science and Technology (SOST) is a joint support office for the Spanish scientific and industrial community and promote greater participation of them in all the European R&D programmes and activities.

The Spanish Office for Science and Technology (SOST) is the Brussels liaison office for the Spanish scientific-technological community and business sector. Its aim is to promote Spanish participation in the European research programmes. SOST provides its users (researchers coming from public and private organizations and Spanish universities) with information about the European financial opportunities. It also provides advice about access to information, about EU programmes. Finally, SOST facilitates the communication between the Spanish research and scientific community and the European Institutions related to RTD.
